The All India Jatt Maha Sabha held a function at Fatehgarh Palace. During which Sukhdev Singh Sukha Kansala was appointed District Mohali President.
Addressing the function, Punjab President Harpal Singh Harpura and Chandigarh President Rajinder Singh Badheri said that the purpose of the Sabha was to highlight the plight of the Jatt community and especially to bring the lower caste Jats under protection. The Sabha has nothing to do with any particular party.
There is no requirement to be a worker of any political party to join it. He said that the ongoing farmers’ struggle was being given full support of the Sabha. He appealed to all the landlords to join the Sabha.
He also handed over the appointment letter announcing the appointment of Sukhdev Singh Sukha Kansala as the district Mohali president. Meanwhile, farmers protesting against the agriculture bill also burnt the effigy of Prime Minister Modi.
On the occasion Gian Rana, Gurmeet Singh San, Ravinder Singh Vajidpur, Harjit Singh Dhakoran, Harnek Singh Takipur, Vicky, Jasveer Singh Takipur, Sagar Singh Parol, Bhagat Singh Kansala, Ladi Dhakoran were also present in large numbers.
