Chandigarh, July 27, 2021 (Yes Punjab News)
Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) President and Rajya Sabha Member, S. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa today made it clear that the party would not forge an alliance with any other Political Party for the upcoming Assembly Polls 2022. The Party would contest all the 117 seats in Punjab on its own, said S. Dhindsa

S. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa also clarified that he had not formed Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) just to get the power, rather his and his party’s main target is to work for the betterment of the Sikh Panth and Punjab.

His Party also aims to liberate Shiromani Akali Dal, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and Shri Akal Takhat Sahib from the control of one family, so that the original principles of the Akali Dal can be restored.

Terming media reports regarding his Party going into alliance with a particular party in the forthcoming Assembly Elections as a sheer rumour, S. Dhindsa said that no talks are going on for getting into an alliance with any party.

S. Dhindsa said that the people of Punjab were very sad today due to the anti-people policies of traditional parties.

He stressed the need to form a fourth front for the welfare of the Panth and Punjab but he never offered an alliance to any party. He has warned the people to restrain themselves from spreading such rumours.

S. Dhindsa said that during the meeting held on July 24 in Jalandhar, all the office bearers have been asked to make preparations at the grass-root level and also to confidently field the aspiring candidates.

He said that Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) collation has capable and experienced leadership.Veteran and experienced leaders of Malwa, as well as Majha and Doaba, are an important part of the party. Many of these leaders have served as Cabinet Ministers, Parliamentary Secretaries, Members of Parliament, Deputy Speaker, MLAs and others, said S. Dhindsa

He said that not only this, even the command of the women wing is given in the hands of experienced leaders.

The youth wing, which is the mainstay of the party, also has hardworking, experienced and highly qualified youth working day and night to strengthen the party, he added.

He further said that a manifesto outlining the party’s policies would also be released in the next few days. Besides this, many eminent personalities of Punjab are going to become part of Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt), which will further strengthen the party, he asserted.

He said that Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) would represent Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabiyat as a strong regional party in the state.
