Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh releases Coffee Table Book ‘Patte Patte Likhi Ibarat’

Published by Sardar Sobha Singh Memorial Fondation Sri Hargobindpur (Gurdaspur) a Coffee Table Poetry Book – ‘Patte Patte Likhi Ibarat’ based on couplets com;posed by Prof. Gurbhajan Singh Gill and with Tej Partap Singh Sandhu’s unique photo illustrations was released today last evening by Giani Harpreet Singh, Jathedar Sri Akaal Takhat at Mata Gujri College Sri Fatehgarh Sahib at the behest of inspirational efforts of Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh.

The occasion was marked with special presence of a former VC Punjabi University Dr.Jaspal Singh, a former VC GNDU Dr S P Singh, Karnail Singh Panjoli SGPC Gen Sec, Global TV’s ( America) owner S.Harbhajan Singh, S. Bir Divender Singh former speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha ,Giani Harpal Singh Key Sewadar Gurdwara Jyoti Saroop, Dr Gurnam Singh a former dean academic Pbi. University and S. Paramjit Singh Dhaliwal the chief engineer (retd.) PPSCL.

While deliberating about this unique book Dr. Gurnam Singh said ‘the book is based not merely on photo feature of leaves but a literary creation which gives us blissful wonder to enjoy. Couplets take us beyond the realm of intellect to a wondrous plane of consciousness.

Dr. Jaspal Singh while reading this book ‘Pattyian Utte Likhi Ibarat’ we can feel the creative abilities of both Prof Gurbhajan Singh Gill and Tej Partap Singh Sandhu. The couplets are quite in consonance with the rich traditions of revered poet Bhai Vir Singh Ji.
Dr. S P Singh said that he felt honored that he is now attending the release of 16th book of his student Gurbhajan Gill who took admission in my GGN College at Ludhiana 50 years before.S Bir Davinder Singh,Singh Sahib Giani Harpreet Singh congratulated Prof.Gill on the occasion.

While acknowledging the blessings of gathered illustrious presence, Gurbhajan Gill and Tej Partap Sandhu said that they did not think to organize any formal function for the release, but the availability of this sudden occasion of presence of notable personalities is a divine blessing for us.

With 103 couplets and as many photos, the book itself has firmed our faith in the dictum,‘Balihaari Kudrat Vassyea’ –Almighty is in His Creation. We are now convinced that Nature is certainly so powerful as well as a giver of precious boons. Book is printed at Print-Well Amritsar and being distributed by Singh Brothers.

For publishing this book, the cooperation provided by S. Bhupinder Singh Malhi(Sarih-Canada),Prithipal Singh Hayer, President S. Sobha Singh Memorial Foundation was also duly acknowledged.

Others who remained present on the occasion were Dr Amritpal Kaur. Dean Accedemic Punjabi University,Patiala, Dr. Dhanwant Kaur,Dr.Jaswinder Singh,Dr Deep Inder Singh,Dr Ashok Khurana from Jalandhar, S.Jagjit Singh Panjoli, S.Gurpartap Singh of Global TV, SGPC member Singh Khalsa, Principal Kamalgeet Kaur and S.Jasbir Singh Jwaddi.
