Aam Aadmi Party get a big boost in Sangrur and Faridkot Lok Sabha constituencies

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) got a big boost in Sangrur and Faridkot Lok Sabha constituencies. On Tuesday, many present and former councillors including the Bhadaur Municipal Council President and many Congress and Akali leaders of Barnala and Faridkot left their old parties and joined the Aam Aadmi Party.

Aam Aadmi Party Punjab President and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann formally inducted all the leaders into the party and welcomed them.

Along with Manish Kumar, independent councillor Ashok Ram (Vice President Municipal Council), Gurpal Singh (Independent Councillor), Balveer Singh Thandu (Independent Councillor), Nahar Singh Aulakh (Congress Councillor), Sukhcharan Singh (Congress Councillor), Vakil Singh (Congress Councillor), Amarjit Singh (Akali Councillor) and former councillor Gurjant Singh Janta also joined Aam Aadmi Party today.

In Faridkot, Raja Warring’s close relative Arsh Sachchar, along with his associates, left Congress and joined AAP

Arsh Sachchar, a close relative of Punjab Congress chief Raja Warring in Faridkot Lok Sabha constituency, left Congress along with his associates and joined the AAP.

Along with him, his supporters Varun Sharma, Sardool Singh, Amritpal, Balkar Singh, Tejbir Mann, Ashwani Puri, Pushmeet Brar, Anuj Sharma, Gurpreet Singh, Nageshwar, Dr. Vishal Kaushal, Sumit Mani, Kapil Goyal and Hitesh Goyal also joined AAP in the presence of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the Aam Aadmi Party government is continuously working to give the best facilities to the common people. In the last two years, we have done historic work for the people of Punjab.

We have built about 829 Aam Aadmi Clinics for the treatment of common people and are building Schools of Eminence for the education of poor children, which has better facilities than private schools.

We have made 300 units of electricity free every month for the people of Punjab. Today, about 90 percent of the houses in the state are getting zero electricity bills.

He said that we are asking for votes from the people of Punjab on the basis of our work, that is why we are getting a lot of support from the people. The people of Punjab are once again ready to give the AAP a historic mandate.
