A short film ‘Scholar of Universe’ dedicated to 550th Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev released

On the occasion of 550th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, paying homage to his spiritual grandeur and great philosophy, city artists came out with a short film ‘Scholar of the Universe’ under the banner of Stagecrafat Films and in the direction of 19-year-old young film director Gurnoor Singh.

In this short film of about three minutes, the universal philosophy of Guru Sahib is portrayed by the characters of the modern era, in which Jaspreet Singh, Harpreet Singh, Vikramjit Singh, Sandeep Singh, Soni Goyal, Happy Soni, Honey Sanghar and Beant Sivia has played various roles.

Director Gurnur Singh said that he has worked in three films before but this is his first film as a director whose story is written by a UK based writer Chandra Sekhar.

He told that the whole team is very happy that the corridor of religious holy place associated with Guru Sahib, Shri Kartarpur Sahib has been inaugurated today, keeping in mind the said film has been released by the famous art lovers of the area, Kirti Kirpal, Sudarshan Gupta, Dr. Kashish Gupta, Pooja Gupta and Surinder Kaur and now people can watch it through YouTube.
