36th National Games 2022: Trials to select Punjab Women Hockey Team on Aug 13 at Amritsar

The trails to select Punjab Women’s Hockey Team to participate in the 36th National Games will be held on August 13 at Amritsar.

According to Olympian Balwinder Singh Shammi, Member of the Adhoc Committee of Hockey Punjab, duly appointed by Hockey India, after the suspension of Hockey Punjab that trails to select the Punjab Women’s Hockey team which will participate in the 36th National Games-2022 to be held at Rajkot (Gujrat) from September 30 to October 7 will take place on August 13 at 11 am at the Guru Nanak Dev University Astroturf Hockey Ground in Amritsar.

Olympian Shammi further said that for these trials, Hockey Punjab has appointed Harpreet Singh Mander, Hardeep Singh Neeta, Balwinder Singh Shami (all Olympians), Baldev Singh (Daronacharya Awardee), Rajbir Kaur Rai (Asian Medalist), Yogita Bali and Sukhjit Kaur (both former International player) as a member of the selection committee.
