36th National Games-2022: Thirty probables named to select Punjab women’s hockey team

The Hockey Punjab Ad-hoc Committee has named 30 member probable to select the Punjab women’s hockey team participating in the 36th National Games-2022.

According to Olympian Balwinder Singh Shammi, a member of Hockey Punjab’s ad-hoc committee that Punjab Women Hockey team will take part in the 36th National Games-2022 to be held at Rajkot (Gujarat) from September 30 to October 7. A Selection Committee comprising of Baldev Singh (Daronacharya Awardee), Olympian Balwinder Singh Shammi, Sukhjit Kaur (international Player) and Amarjit Singh (Coach) have selected 30 probable namely, Gurjeet Kaur & Siami (Both Olympians), Yogita Bali, Navpreet Kaur, Rajwinder Kaur, Baljeet Kaur, Jaspreet Kaur, Ransanpreet Kaur, Hardeep Kaur, Ritu Rani, Gagan, Priyanka, Ronsleen Relta, Rint (all international players), Simran Chopra, Jasdeep Kaur, Kamalpreet Kaur, Jyotika, Kirandeep Kaur (Senior), Navjot Kaur, Kirandeep Kaur (Junior), Mahima, Kajal, Amardeep Kaur, Simran Saini, Priyanka (Junior), Taranpreet Kaur, Shalu, Soni and Reena (all national players).

Shammi further informed that the coaching camp for the selected probable will be organised from September 5 to 25 at the Guru Nanak Dev University Astroturf Hockey Ground in Amritsar.
