Sh. Gursharandeep Singh Grewal, PPS, SSP/Khanna, has disclosed by a press conference that Khanna Police has started a special campaign against the Drug Trafficking & misdemeanors.
During this campaign Khanna Police has achieved a success under the guidelines of Sh. Jasvir Singh, PPS. SP/I/Khanna, Sh. Deepak Rai PPS, DSP/Khanna, SI Avtar Singh Incharge Narcotic Cell Khanna alongwith police party were set up a Special Nakabandi near Pristine Mall G.T Road (Alour) Khanna & conducted the checking of suspected vehicles/persons. While checking, one Car (Taxi) Swift Dzire no. HR-55-W-8632 was coming from Gobindgarh side.
He said that on the suspicion, Police party stopped the car for checking purpose. During questioning, Car (Taxi) driver was identified as Amit Mongia S/o Late Harish Mongia R/o Burel PS Vikaspuri (New Delhi) & one woman (who sat on the backseat inside car) identified herself as Eva Das (aged 24 yrs.) W/o Rishi R/o Tecpur PS/Sadar/Tecpur, Distt. Sonipur (Assam) now at Chander Bihar, Sunday Market New Delhi.
Sh. Deepak Rai PPS, DSP/Khanna reached on the spot during the checking of above said woman & conducted her checking through a Lady Constable. On the frisking of her Purse, 1 Kg 260 gms of Heroin (which was wrapped in polythene) was recovered.
A case FIR No. 148, Dt. 31.07.19 U/S 21/61/85 NDPS Act PS/City-2/Khanna has been registered & arrested her.The culprit is still being questioned, there is a possibilities of major disclosures.
