11 students from Jalandhar stuck at Kota due to lockdown return safely

Eleven students from the district, who were stuck in Kota (Rajasthan) due to the lockdown/ curfew returned back to the district safely with the concerted efforts of the Punjab Government led by the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.

The eleven students including Mr. Rahul, Mr. Aman Babu, Mr. Subrat Behera, Mr. Himanshu Tiwari, Mr. Mohit Kumar, Mr. Ankur Kumar, Ms. Sneha gupta, Ms. Sanchika Sharma, Ms. Tamini, Mr. Anmol Ojha and Mr. Sanjeev reached the city in buses specially deployed by the Punjab government to bring these students back all the way from Kota.

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had personally taken up this matter with the Rajasthan and Haryana government for ensuring the safe return of these students. The students, who reached in the city late evening, were received by the team of officers from Jalandhar Administration. As per the directions of the Health department the students were sent to the local Civil Hospital for their medical check up and screening.

These students were studying in Kota and were stuck down due to the ongoing lockdown/ curfew until the Punjab government sent fleet of buses for bringing these students back. Meanwhile, showering all praise for the state government, the students expressed gratitude to the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for ensuring their return safely from Kota.

They said the state government has done a commendable job by ensuring all these logistics to bring back the students from Kota. They said that due to the elaborate arrangements put in place by the state government they have been able to return and go back at their respective places safely and comfortably.
