Hard Kaur, the Indian born british rapper and hip hop artiste who is embroiled in a controversy regardfing alleged use of abusive language during a performance in Chandigarh on Wednesday during a Fashion-cum-Entertainment show, has sought an apology.
In a press release issued here the Bollywood playback singer and actress who had created a stir by hurling abuses from stage and had hurt Sikh sentiments with her remarks, said, “I never wanted to hurt anyone’s feelings and sentiments. My comments during my performance are totally misinterpreted and blown out of proportion. I am a rapper and ought to have certain characteristic to my music and performance style. The mood of my performance was very happy and the crowd was enjoying it to the core. I just wanted to give a rocking performance to make my fans happy. I never meant to hurt anyone’s feelings, but if someone got offended because of my songs or any of my comments, I apologise to them from the bottom of my heart.”
The British-Indian rapper had performed at five-star Hotel JW Marriot in City beautiful during a fashion show on May 22. The show featured Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu and Model turned actress Diana Penty.
In the show she not only ridiculed two Sikhs but also dared to compare the Sikh gatekeeper outside the Hotel with tenth master Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji.
