A group of old students of College of Art, Chandigarh has taken the initiative to form ‘Chandigarh Art College Old Students Association’ which will also be called ‘CACOSA’.

This has been revealed by an old student Mr. Channi Takulia. The group has students from Govt. School of Art & Crafts, Shimla who were later at Govt. College of Art, Chandigarh.

The senior most among the group is a 1963 batch passed out and the junior most is a student who passed out in 2011.

A meeting of old students of College of Art, Chandigarh was held at Virsa Vihar premises, Jalandhar where it was decided to form a group of old students to up-lift the art activities.

The Association plans to hold Exhibitions of Paintings, Photography, Sculptures, Graphics, Seminars on Fine Arts and Slide Shows of the Punjabi artists of national and international fame.

The Association will be holding 1st Art Exhibition from 2nd of May to 8th of May at Virsa Vihar, Satya Paul Art Gallery, Jalandhar.
